Fuschia (Fuchsia magellanica)

Attractive perennial. Only select frost hardy varieties. Attractive nectar source to bees and hummingbirds. Long blooming period. Needs pruning. Excellent for borders and hedges in gardens and along farm fields.

Note: All fuchsias are native to regions like Central and South America, New Zealand, and Mexico. However, many species are well-adapted to BC's climate, particularly the "hardy" varieties that can survive mild winters and are commonly planted in gardens throughout the province.
