White-flowering Rhododendron (Rhododendron albiflorum)

Native to British Columbia, thriving in moist, subalpine mountain forests and known for its clusters of white, bell-shaped flowers, rusty-haired leaves, and reddish twigs, often forming part of the shrubby understory. It's one of only two rhododendron species native to BC, alongside R. macrophyllum, and is found at higher elevations across the Pacific Northwest.
